Round table this month for Boy Scout leaders will be a good one to bring your troop committee members to, especially the advancement chair. Veronica from the scout office will be there to talk about online advancements and what she has to do with the Eagle scout application. That should give us all some insight into better record keeping of advancements, which in turn makes the Eagle application easier to complete.
Also Jennie Sullivan will talk about training here in our district and also National training base at Philmont. Every boy deserves a trained leader.
Don't forget the SPL roundtable. Planning is going on now for the Spring Camporee coming up soon. Get your SPL & ASPL involve to represent your troop in the plan for our district camporees. This is good leadership training for these youth leaders. Rob Zimmerman & Mike Hannah are RT staff over the SPL meeting.
